The second time this year! Old Sol continues to send Coronal Mass Ejections our way. And it happened again on October 10th.
Auroral predictions were showing a good chance of Aurora visible in the next 24 hours.

So on the 9th, I got the Seestar out to catch a glimpse of the active sunspot areas producing these CMEs. I was cautiously optimistic for another Aurora display.

I went to a location north of Plain City, OH that has a clear view of the northern horizon. I arrived at around 8pm and began waiting for the show.
Using my smart phone, I started to take pictures of the northern horizon. Then at 8:32pm, the first glimpses of the aurora occurred.

I was about to leave around 10pm, but then the sky just lit up!

A friend of mine works for a local TV Station and used my pictures!
